The 11^th Sri Lanka Economic Research Conference (SLERC 2022) of the Sri Lanka Forum of University Economists (SLFUE) was gloriously had been held at Nalliah Auditorium, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, on 3rd February 2023, with the theme of "Contemporary Controversies and Dilemmas in the Economy of Sri Lanka.  The eminent Professor Shantayanan Devarajan from Georgetown University, United States delivered the conference keynote speech titled “How to make government accountable, empower the poor, and limit elite capture in Sri Lanka".
