Submission of Extended Abstracts: SLERC 2017


1. Guidelines:

  • Each person is limited to two first-author submissions in order to provide opportunities for as many participants as possible. Additional submissions beyond two will be automatically cancelled by the conference committee without notifying the author.
  • All extended abstracts are limited to a maximum of 1000-1500 words (Excluding tables). Abstracts over 1500 words will be automatically cut to the specified length by the conference committee without notifying the author.
  • At least one author of a presentation must register and attend the conference in order for the accepted abstracts (and paper if submitted) to be included in the conference proceedings.
  • One third of the extended abstract should be assigned to the findings of the research.
  • All authors of abstracts accepted for presentation are invited to submit a full paper.
  • SLERC 2017 encourages student submissions. PhD students may submit as a single author. All the other students must be co-authored with a department/faculty advisor.
  • Abstracts submissions without these specifications will be cancelled without notifying the author.
  • The extended abstract must contain the following sections.
    • Abstract and Keywords
    • Introduction
    • Methodology
    • Findings
    • Conclusion
    • References


2. Information needed at the submission of abstracts:

1) Submission Title;

2) Student (Yes or No);

3) Author’s Name(s), Affiliated Organization(s), & E-mail(s);

4) Topic Area or Track;

5) Keywords (at least 5 words);

6) Abstract (1000- 1500 word max.),

7) File upload.
